Do I need an appointment?
Yes, appointments are required. Our boutique is open Tuesday-Saturday and operates by appointment only in order to provide our brides with the exceptional shopping experience they deserve! Initial bridal appointments are 90 minutes long. You may book an appointment directly through our website or call the boutique at 845-298-2370. We can occasionally offer private appointments outside our office hours. Please call or email for more information.
Can I bring guests to my appointment?
Absolutely! Our boutique is an intimate setting which allows space for up to 4 guests. We recommend that you bring a supportive tribe of people who's opinions you value most.
What designers do carry?
Currently we carry gowns from Madi Lane, Ti Adora by Allison Webb, Emmy Mae, Lis Simon as well as a variety of handmade gowns by private, private-label designers.
How do I pay for my dress?
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. A 50% down payment will be required at the time of purchase. The remaining balance will be due at the time of pick up.
What's your price range?
Prices range by designer, typically running between $1,400-$2,600. We also will be offering previously worn gowns that you can purchase off the rack if the size is right! Follow us on social media @wildbloomsbridal to be the first to know about promotions and events!
Do you offer in house alterations?
We do not offer alterations in-house, but we work closely with several trusted local seamstresses who's services we highly recommend! We are happy to provide you with their contact information when you come in for your appointment. You are certainly not required to use these services, especially if you are a bride who has traveled from a distance and would prefer to use a seamstress more local to you. We simply recommend vendors who have worked with our brides in the past and are familiar with the construction and design of our dresses.
What should I bring to my appointment?
You are welcome to bring bridal inspiration photos to your appointment so that our stylists can easily assist you in finding your desired gown and accessory styles. We recommend wearing undergarments that you feel comfortable in and are easily concealable, such as a strapless bra in a white or nude color. Don't forget to bring your biggest smile!
How far in advance do I need to shop for a gown?
We recommend starting your search for a wedding dress nine months to a year before your wedding date. Our dresses are all samples, meaning all of the styles we carry are made to order. Once you choose your gown we take measurements to order you the proper size and give you the available color options. Ample time should be allowed for the production and shipment of your gown as well for alterations if they are needed!
How does sizing work?
Sizing varies by designer. Some of our designers offer made to measure services, meaning that the designer will create a gown specified for your exact measurements. Other designers work on a sizing scale which we will measure you for and order the size that is closest to your measurements. Please be aware that bridal sizing can be WACKY and typically runs very small. Don't be surprised or upset if the size that is ordered is larger than the sizes you normally wear. It's just the (albeit strange) industry standard!
What is your return policy?
As is customary in the bridal industry, all sales are final. No refunds, exchanges or cancellations will be accepted. When you come in to pick up your dress we will have you inspect it for any defects or abnormalities before leaving the store with the gown. Once the dress leaves the boutique we are no longer responsible for any issues or damages as it has left our care.
Is there parking for the boutique?
Construction on a new municipal parking lot on West Main Street is currently underway! Until then, there is plenty of non-metered street parking up and down Main Street and a municipal lot on Mill Street, behind The Vinyl Room.
